Introducing The Jack Daniel's 150th Birthday Collection (Officially authorised by the Jack Daniel Distillery)

Born in 1850, Jasper Newton "Jack" Daniel was the youngest of 10 children. He left home at an early age and learned his craft in whiskey making from Dan Call, a Lutheran preacher. Jack Daniel assumed control of the distillery while still in his teens, and was the first to register his distillery with the United States Government in 1866. "Mr. Jack" watched his Tennessee Whiskey become world famous during his lifetime.

Now Matchbox Collectibles pays tribute to this American legend with a collection commemorating the 150th Birthday of Jack Daniel. Six precision-engineered, intricately crafted and beautifully decorated die-cast models that deliver the Jack Daniel's heritage.

Today Jack Daniel's Old No.7 Brand Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey is still made with Jack Daniel's original recipe. And the black and white label has become world famous. This label now appears on a 1932 Ford Model AA, another American classic.

Each model in this collection faithfully reproduces an important piece of the Jack Daniel's legacy. There's the handsome portrait of Jack Daniel on the 1948 GMC COE. Authentic Old No.7 graphics now distinguish a 1926 Ford Model TT, appointed with gold-tone wheels and grille. One of the seven international gold medals that were awarded to Jack Daniel's Old No.7 Tennessee Sippin' Whiskey glows on each side of a 1912 Ford Model T, which is accented with a "JACK DANIEL'S" sign on top, gold-tone trim and the decorative flourishes that define the Model T's distinctive styling.

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey allows whiskey aficionados to sample individual barrels. A special label was created for this whiskey which now enriches the sides of a 1930 Ford Model A.

An imaginative advertising campaign featured the mythical White Rabbit Saloon, a place where you would feel perfectly at home with Jack Daniel's.
Inspired by the fictional White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, the Saloon graphics from the Jack Daniel's Archives now reappear on a 1937 GMC Van.

It takes as many as 20 individual applications of colour to get all the graphics just right. But perfection in die-cast model making - just as in distilling great whiskey - can't be rushed. That's why our craftsmen took the time to craft two barrels and place them in the bed of the 1930 Ford Model A honouring Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey. It's why they have meticulously rendered the Old No.7 bottle on the 1932 Ford Mode AA. It's also why every vehicle looks just like the original automotive classic that delivered products like Jack Daniel's whiskey to establishments all across America during the first half of the 20th century.

You'll be pleased by the level of authentic detailing in each die-cast model. This collection features both gold-tone and chrome-finished trim, two-tone paintwork on every replica and even the wheels on each model are true to the original.

Each model comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
